Liverpool entertained Arsenal at Anfield earlier this evening as they looked to bounce back in the Premier League with a win at home. The Reds made a strong start to the game but were left frustrated for most of the first half by some terrific saves from Aaron Ramsdale. However, Sadio Mane finally broke the deadlock in the 39th minute with a well-directed header from close range. Jurgen Klopp’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
The Merseyside outfit were dominant after the restart and managed to double their lead via Diogo Jota’s composed finish from close range in the 52nd minute. Mohamed Salah added another goal in the 73rd minute before Takumi Minamino came off the bench to score with his first touch just four minutes later. The contest finished with the Reds securing a brilliant 4-0 victory at Anfield.
