Tottenham Hotspur entertained Sheffield United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to pick up another home win in the Premier League. Spurs controlled the game well in the first half and got themselves ahead in the 36th minute courtesy of Gareth Bale’s flicked finish. The home team sat on their lead well and went into the half-time break one goal up on the scoreline.
Bale doubled his team’s advantage with an emphatic strike in the 61st minute before going on to complete his hattrick just eight minutes later with another good finish. Heung-min Son put the icing on the cake when he found the back of the net in the 77th minute as the match ended with Spurs securing a dominant 4-0 victory at the English capital.
Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham player performed during the clash against the Blades.

The French keeper had only one save to make in the game and secured an easy clean sheet tonight.

He was defensively solid and created several chances for his teammates to score in the final third. Aurier ended the game with two assists to his name.
CB: Toby Alderweireld – 7.5/10
Alderweireld cleared his lines when needed and even blocked a couple of shots. He was a threat at the other end as well.
CB: Eric Dier – 7.5/10
The English defensive ace made multiple clearances during the game and was strong in the air. He was also an accurate passer of the ball.
LB: Reguilon – 6.5/10
The Spaniard didn’t do much wrong at the back and had a couple of bright moments in the Sheffield United half as well.
CM: Giovani Lo Celso – 6/10
The Argentine playmaker worked hard to help his teammates out on the defensive third of the field. However, he offered very little going forward.

He disrupted the opposition’s rhythm in the game by making some interceptions and clearing the danger when called into action.
