Liverpool will entertain West Bromwich Albion at Anfield on Sunday evening hoping to win and stretch their lead at the top of the Premier League standings. The Merseyside giants are in red hot form at the moment after banging in six goals past Crystal Palace last weekend.
Jurgen Klopp will probably stick with his preferred 4-3-3 formation and is expected to bring Mohamed Salah and Curtis Jones back for this important league encounter this weekend. Their inclusion could mean that both Takumi Minamino and Naby Keita will drop to the bench.
4-3-3 Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face West Brom
Defence
Alisson Becker will retain his spot in goal for the Reds after securing a clean sheet versus the Eagles in his last outing. Joel Matip will once again partner Fabinho at the heart of the Liverpool backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the game.
Trent Alexander-Arnold will continue to feature at right-back while Andrew Robertson hopes to produce another industrious display as the left-back. Klopp will give both of them the license to join in on the attack so that they can engineer some clear-cut opportunities for the front players to score.
Rhys Williams and Neco Williams are expected to provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Georginio Wijnaldum will partner up with Jordan Henderson and Curtis Jones at the centre of the park as they focus on dominating the midfield battle by retaining the ball well. The talented trio will have to be creative with their passing if they are to carve open the West Brom defence on Sunday.
As mentioned earlier, Naby Keita will be available on the bench alongside Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as they await their chance to shine as the impact substitutes if Klopp decides to call upon their services.
Attack
The Liverpool frontline will be comprised of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah this weekend. All three of them managed to get their names on the scoresheet versus Roy Hodgson’s men, which will give them a lot of confidence heading into this upcoming showdown versus the Baggies.
Takumi Minamino will have to settle for a spot on the bench but could come on to influence the game in the second half if required.
