Liverpool will travel to Shropshire to face off against Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup hoping to win and progress into the next round of the competition. The Reds have been unstoppable in domestic matches so far this season and come into this clash on the back of a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in midweek.
Jurgen Klopp will stick with his favoured 4-3-3 formation and will be inclined to make a lot of changes to his first-team for this FA Cup encounter versus Sam Ricketts’ men.

Defence
Adrian will get the nod to start in this FA Cup game while Klopp hands Alisson Becker some well-deserved rest. Joe Gomez might keep his place in the first-team and operate alongside Joel Matip at the heart of the Liverpool backline. Both centre-halves will try to maintain a high line and keep the Shrewsbury attackers at bay on Sunday.
Neco Williams is expected to get another start at right-back after putting in an impressive display versus Everton in the third round of the FA Cup. Yasser Larouci might see some more playing time in the left-back position as Klopp gives Andrew Robertson a rest following his heavy involvement in recent weeks.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ki-Jana Hoever will be available for selection on the Reds bench.
Midfield
The Merseyside outfit could line up with a hard-working midfield three of Curtis Jones, Pedro Chirivella and Adam Lallana this weekend. Jones was the match-winner in the derby win over the Toffees in the last round so his confidence will be sky-high heading into this game against the League One outfit.
The talented trio will have to work hard if they want to dictate proceedings at the centre of the park. Klopp will instruct them to press the opposition high up the pitch so that they can cook up some decent goal-scoring opportunities in the attacking third of the field.
Fabinho and Alex-Oxlade-Chamberlain will have to be content with a place on the bench but might get a chance to feature in this game if required.
Attack
Klopp could opt to play a front three of Divock Origi, Takumi Minamino and Harvey Elliott as he looks to shuffle the pack up top. Minamino played a lot of minutes versus Wolves in midweek, but he should keep his place while Origi and Elliott provide some natural width out on the flanks.
Sadio Mane will be unavailable after picking up an injury in midweek, and Xherdan Shaqiri is also likely to be out of action as he continues to recover from his latest injury setback. So we can expect Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino to make up the numbers on the bench.
