Chelsea are keeping tabs on Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj. The player has been also garnering a lot of interest from AC Milan and AS Roma.
Antonio Conte has been planning a squad revamp in January. With Cesc Fabregas likely to be on his way out, the Italian would want someone to fill his shoes. Badelj has 18 months left on his current contract and could be available for as little as £9m.
Fiorentina usually play with 3-1-4-2 with Badelj has the responsibility to thwart the opponents attack. The Croatian international has an amazing work rate and could prove to be a bargain signing for Chelsea.
The 27-year-old defensive midfielder who was also linked with Tottenham Hotspur has played 11 matches in this season. The midfielder who has 11 caps for Croatia had appeared in all matches of Euro 2016.
Chelsea are currently second and the signing of the midfielder could provide a major boost to their Premier League campaign in the next transfer window.
