Wolfsburg could be a possible destination for Manchester United winger Memphis Depay. The Dutch youngster has failed to make the cut in the starting lineup as Jose Mourinho prefers Jesse Lingard , Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial over him. He was signed from PSV last season by former manager Louis Van Gaal but has failed to make an impact so far.
Under Jose Mourinho, the 22-year-old has just managed to play a mere 95 minutes and hasn’t scored a goal yet.
Depay has earlier expressed his unhappiness over his lack of game time. Depay featured in Holland’s 1-0 loss to France in a recent World Cup Qualifier.
According to reports, Wolfsburg are very keen to sign him permanently but Mourinho wants a loan move for the player. AC Milan had been earlier linked with the player.
Wolfsburg has been struggling this season and currently are in 13th place in Bundesliga. New signing Mario Gomez has been awful in this season and is yet to score a goal. With Draxler linked to Arsenal, the German club is adamant to add an attacker in their team.
