Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp and midfielder Adam Lallana have been shortlisted for the manager of the month and player of the month respectively.
Liverpool are right now on a five-match winning streak. They came from behind to defeat Swansea City 2-1 in their last game. Roberto Firmino, Adam Lallana, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho all have been in blistering form for the Reds.
Lallana was named Liverpool’s player of the month for September and has scored three goals and has as many as assists in this season. The English international suffered a groin injury in their last match, though, and will miss the upcoming game for England.
Klopp will come up against Mauricio Pochettino of Spurs, Pep Guardiola of Manchester City and Alan Pardew of Crystal Palace for the player of the month honour.
A Premier League panel consisting of ex-Liverpool player Jamie Carragher and former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry will decide the winner.
Adam Lallana’s also features in the nomination list for the goal of the month courtesy of beautiful strike against Leicester City.
