Antoine Griezmann has admitted that he follows Manchester United on a regular basis.
Griezmann has been linked with United for the past couple of days. Jose Mourinho is an admirer of the French forward and has told his scouts to keep a tab on the French forward. The Atletico Madrid attacker has scored six goals already this season. He also scored the same number of goals in the EURO 2016 guiding France to the final where they eventually lost to Portugal.
Griezmann is a very good friend of United midfielder Paul Pogba and bonded well with him at the French camp during the EUROs.
“We get on very well. The Euros brought us even closer – he’s a really nice guy. We send messages, Snapchats. When he plays for his club, I try to watch to see if he’s had a good game or not.”
Griezmann has a contract till 2021 and Mourinho considers him as a long-term replacement for Wayne Rooney.
