According to Sportwitness, Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce are looking to lure Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma out of Stamford Bridge this summer. As per the reports, the Sarı Lacivertliler have already offered €2.1m to the Blues for their out-of-favour defender as they want him on a loan deal.
The Super Lig outfit have been very closely linked with a move for the 23-year-old defensive ace, who has lost his place in the Chelsea squad in the last couple of seasons. He went onto join Stoke City on loan in the last term and played 34 matches in total for the Potters. However, he was not able to help them keep their place intact in the top flight and returned to Stamford Bridge this summer.
It is being reported that Fenerbahce have already agreed on terms with the Chelsea ace and have also told him to convince the Blues’ hierarchy in making the loan move possible. It is to be seen now whether the player will be taking the step in order to get the loan move going and for a future away from the West London club.
The report also says that the Turkish outfit will not be looking to pressurize the former Premier League champions in making the deal go through as they will not pursue the signature of the player if the Blues don’t accept their offer. However, they have provided a window of 48 hours to Chelsea to either agree to the deal or let the deal fell through.
