Richarlison who started of the season brightly for Watford could be on his way out from the club as some big clubs are after his signature. The Brazillian forward was on the scoresheet 5 times in his first 13 games but in the last 3-4 months, he has struggled for form. His last goal came against West Ham in November. Nevertheless, his bad form hasn’t distracted his prospective suitors as they are still looking to sign him.
One such big club that is after him is Ligue 1 heavyweights Paris Saint Germain. According to reports, he is being valued at £40m and along with PSG, some Premier league giants are also after his signature. It will be tough for Watford to hold on to their man if such clubs come in with concrete offers as the player will be lured by big money and playing in a top team and in best competitions.
Watford as a club started off well in the Premier League but currently, they are going nowhere as they have lost 4 of their last 5 games. They are pretty much assured of survival in the Premier League as they are currently sitting on the 12th spot. One often sees with survival being near or less secured, and nothing much to play for as they are not challenging for the European spot, clubs leave their guards down. That is what seems to be the case with The Hornets at the moment as they have wandered aimlessly without any intent in the last few games.
Richarlison is a versatile forward as he is adept at playing in various positions. He can play as a lone striker as well as down the left or right. He might seem a bit on the lighter side but he shows immense strength when he is on the ball.
Like all usual Brazillian, he has a flair to his game and he loves taking on defenders in one on one situation. Richarlison’s performance has gone down in the latter part of the season but the Hornets needs to remember that he is still young and has a huge potential.

A move to PSG will certainly be tempting for the youngster as he will get to experience Champions League football. But for his overall development, staying at Watford will be the right move. At PSG, he will be competing for a place with the likes of Neymar, Di Maria, Draxler and Mbappe and it is highly unlikely that he will get regular playing time with the French outfit. At Watford, he can develop his game further as he is still young and when he matures enough to move to a big club.
