Chelsea will be on the road again to face Burnley at Turf Moor in a midweek clash. The Blues are coming on the back of an inspired comeback win against the relegation-threatened Saints. Southampton raced into a 2-0 lead in the second half and it was left to their new signing Olivier Giroud to do the rescue act as he came from the bench and scored two with Hazard scoring the other to secure a 3-2 win.
Antonio Conte’s second season hasn’t certainly gone to plan as they are eight points behind the fourth-place Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs’ defeat against Manchester City might have given Chelsea a bit of hope of securing the fourth spot but with so few games left it looks unlikely that Spurs will slip up.
On the other hand of the spectrum, Burnley are enjoying a great season as they are sitting comfortably at seventh and are in line for Europa League football in the next season. They have secured 5 back to back wins in the Premier League and are just two points behind the sixth-placed Gunners. The Clarets can also qualify for the Europa League with a seventh-place finish as long as anyone apart from Southampton goes on to win the FA Cup. At current form that looks highly unlikely.
Chelsea will be looking to end the season on a high and this how they will most likely lineup at the Turf Moor.
Defence
Belgian custodian Courtois will be the last line of defence for the Blues. The likes of Gary Cahill, Rudiger and Andreas Christensen will be playing in front of him in a back three. David Luiz is unavailable due to injury.
Midfield
Marcos Alonso could be suspended if he is found guilty of a stamp in his previous game against the Saints. If Alonso is suspended then Azpilicueta can fill in the left wing back role for the Blues. Moses will do the same from the right. Danny Drinkwater is out injured so Kante and Fabregas will start in the middle of the pitch for Chelsea.

Attack
Hazard and Willian have been the two best players for Chelsea this season. Willian at the beginning of the season was finding it tough to get into the team ahead of Pedro but on the back of some good performances, he expected to start from the right. Conte has preferred Morata over Giroud but after Giroud’s performance this weekend he surely deserves a start ahead of the Spaniard. Hazard will be the constant attacking threat and will feature from the left side of the pitch.
