Vitoria de Guimaraes are plotting a move for on-loan Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard this summer. According to recent reports, the Paris Saint Germain player is close to making a switch to Portuguese football at the end of this season. The French giants have recently set up a partnership with Vitoria de Guimaraes which could pave the way for the 20-year-old’s arrival in the top tier of Portuguese football.
The French youngster is currently on loan at Celtic Park and has put in some impressive performances for the Glaswegian side this season. His dazzling display versus Rangers helped Brendan Rodgers’ side grab a thrilling 3-2 victory at the Ibrox Stadium. However, Rodgers has confirmed that the club will discuss the Frenchman’s future at the end of the season.
Edouard has featured in 26 matches for Celtic this season, scoring 8 goals and providing three assists in all competitions. Some sources are also claiming that PSG’s sporting director Antero Henrique has agreed to let the French striker leave to play for Vitoria de Guimaraes in the next campaign.
