Newcastle United will clash heads with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground this Sunday as they look to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Magpies managed to earn an impressive 3-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game.
Eddie Howe will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make one change to his first team for this clash. Kieran Trippier could get the nod to play from the start of this game as Lewis Miley is out of action for the remainder of this campaign due to a fractured fibula.
4-2-3-1 Newcastle United Predicted Lineup To Face Nottingham Forest
Defence
Nick Pope will operate in between the sticks for the Tyneside club after conceding one goal in his last outing. Malick Thiaw will play alongside Sven Botman at the centre of the Newcastle backline as they look to keep the opposition attackers frustrated throughout the 90 minutes.
Kieran Trippier will fill in as the right-back, while Dan Burn looks to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Lewis Hall will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield
Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes will anchor the midfield for the Magpies as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.
The talented trio of Joelinton, Joe Willock and Jacob Murphy will operate just ahead of them as part of Howe’s attack. All three of them need to combine well if the Magpies are to secure maximum points this weekend.
Harvey Barnes, Anthony Gordon and Anthony Elanga will be available for selection on the bench as they await their chance to shine in the second half if required.
Attack
William Osula will spearhead Newcastle’s attack up top. He has to figure out a way to be a real menace in the final third.
Yoane Wissa will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if needed.
