Manchester United faced off against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a solid start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Michael Carrick’s men struggled to score the winning goal in the second 45 minutes and had to settle for a lackluster 0-0 draw away from home.

Mazraoui performed his defensive duties well and made a few decent chances going forward.

He cleared his lines when he could on the defensive end of the pitch and did enough to keep a clean sheet this afternoon.

Martinez made a few crucial clearances inside his half and would be pleased with the shutout.

He cleared the danger when required but struggled to influence the game in the final third.
CM: Mason Mount – 7/10
Mount anchored the midfield well but offered very little inside the Sunderland half.
CM: Kobbie Mainoo – 7/10
He earned the ball back a few times and was tidy with his passing.
RW: Amad Diallo – 6/10
Diallo made one good run with the ball but failed to impress in the final third.
CAM: Bruno Fernandes – 6.5/10
He earned possession back twice and made a few inviting chances inside the opponent’s half.
LW: Matheus Cunha – 6.5/10
He caught the eye at times and was not shy of having a strike at goal.
ST: Joshua Zirkzee – 6/10
Zirkzee struggled to get into the flow of the game and was replaced after the hour mark.
