Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, journalist Pete O’Rourke mentioned that Leeds United have set their sights on Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor. O’Rourke said,
“I think there’ll be a lot of clubs looking at Isidor, potentially for a move away in the summer. He’s dropped down the pecking order at the Stadium of Light this season.
“There was a bit of interest in Isidor from other clubs in the January window, but Sunderland didn’t want to let him go as they wanted to keep hold of their core squad and make sure they secured Premier League safety.
“It might now be in his best interests for Isidor to seek a move away in the summer if he wants to be playing regularly. Leeds may be one of the clubs that look at (signing) him.”
Isidor’s Good Form In English Football This Season
Isidor is having a decent campaign at the Wearside club as he has put in a run of productive displays for them in the final third. The 25-year-old has banged in five goals in 34 matches for the Black Cats this season across various competitions.

His current contract at the Stadium of Light will run out in the summer of 2028, which could make it tough for the Whites to sign him on a cut-price deal at the end of this campaign.
Should Leeds United Boss Daniel Farke Snap Isidor Up?
Isidor is proficient at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He has got the vision to create the odd chance for others around him in the final third and is a strong runner with the ball at his feet.
The Haitian talent has managed to catch the eye at times for Sunderland in the Premier League this season. However, he has to find a way to be more consistent in front of the opponent’s goal.
We can expect Isidor to add more quality to Leeds boss Daniel Farke’s frontline. He is good enough to challenge for a regular first-team spot at Elland Road next season.
At 25, Isidor has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a worthy target for the Whites to pursue this summer. Thus, Farke would be wise to snap him up in the upcoming transfer window as long as he can get him for a reasonable fee.
