Haaland To Spearhead Guardiola’s Attack | 4-2-3-1 Manchester City Predicted Lineup Vs Arsenal

Manchester City will welcome Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium this Sunday as they look to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants managed to earn an impressive 3-0 win away at Chelsea recently, so they would be eager to keep their good form going this weekend.

Pep Guardiola will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to name the same first team that started the last game. Hence, Erling Haaland will once again spearhead Guardiola’s attack up top.

4-2-3-1 Manchester City Predicted Lineup To Face Arsenal

Defence

Gianluigi Donnarumma will feature in between the sticks for Man City after he kept a clean sheet in his last outing. Abdukodir Khusanov will operate alongside Marc Guehi at the centre of Guardiola’s defence as they look to keep a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.

Matheus Nunes will try to impress as the right-back, while Nico O’Reilly looks to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Nathan Ake will offer cover for the defensive positions.

Midfield

Rodri and Bernardo Silva will operate as the holding midfielders as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.

The gifted trio of Jeremy Doku, Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo will play just ahead of them as part of the Man City attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Mancunian outfit are to secure a good result this weekend.

Savinho and Mateo Kovacic will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Erling Haaland will lead the charge for the Mancunian side in the final third. He would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet and make a difference for Man City in this top-of-the-table clash.

Omar Marmoush will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if Man City are in need of a goal by then.
