West Ham United are set to travel to Stamford Bridge to lock horns with Chelsea in the Premier League. The former had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa in their previous game but will take a lot of confidence out of it.
The Hammers are 14th on the points table and have a comfortable margin to away stay from the relegation zone. Hence, they will be fearless in their approach and can ask the Blues a lot of questions on the field on Sunday night.
3-4-2-1 West Ham United Predicted Lineup vs Chelsea
Defence
Alphonse Areola got a chance and did well between the sticks. He should be starting the game once again this weekend.
While Max Kilman and Vladimir Coufal continue at the heart of the defence, Aaron Cresswell is likely to make way for Dinos Mavropanos in the three-man backline. The latter is available again after serving his suspension in the previous game.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Emerson are retained and will perform the duties of the full-backs in the lineup.
Midfield
The holding midfield duo of Thomas Soucek and Edson Alvarez are working effectively and they should be the main stay in the field without any doubt.
Attack
Mohammed Kudus is operating as the attacking midfielder in the lineup. To accompany him, Lucas Paqueta is the prime contender. The Brazilian had to be used as a striker but should return to his normal place.
Manager Graham Potter is optimistic that Jarrod Bowen will mark his return and play as the striker.
Niclas Fullkrug (thigh) and Michail Antonio (leg) are still unavailable due to their respective injuries.
