After having a holiday of 10 odd days, West Ham United locked horns with Brentford in the Premier League. Despite all the time to prepare for the match, the former faced a 1-0 defeat and continued to struggle around the relegation zone.
It’s an alarming situation considering that the Hammers will be playing against Arsenal next week. Without any further ado, let’s get to the ratings of the West Ham United players.
West Ham United Players Rated In Their Loss Against Brentford
Alphonse Aréola (8/10) – Made plenty of good saves otherwise the scoreline could’ve been humiliating.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (6/10) – Could’ve offered a lot more on the field in both aspects of the game.
Konstantinos Mavropanos (6/10) – A slow start into the game but grew as the time passed.
Max Kilman (5/10) – Struggled badly in the first half but returned to a good level once he got the break.
Emerson (4/10) – A poor display from Emerson and he has let his team down somewhere as his mistake cost a goal to the opponents.
Edson Álvarez (6/10) – Should’ve put more effort in the middle of the park. The midfielder clearly failed to leave an impact on the game.
Tomáš Souček (5/10) – He has the same story as Alvarez as he was bypassed at times with ease, which made things easier for the opponents.
Carlos Soler (4/10) – A disappointing game for the Spanish midfielder who was taken off at half-time rightfully.
Lucas Paquetá (6/10) – Started as a centre-forward but was struggling evidently. Once he returned to the midfield, he got better and better.
Mohammed Kudus (5/10) – He was trying a lot on the field but none worked for him. Needs to improve his services in the final third.
Jarrod Bowen (6/10) – An off day for him as fans do expect a lot more from his end on the field.
