The international break came at the right time for Arsenal as they were struggling to get going. Their performance took a toll as they dropped valuable points. With the break over now, Mikel Arteta’s side must be looking to restart.
The Gunners have their next match lined up against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League at home. It will be a crucial game for them to test themselves. Moreover, they surely need a win to regain confidence before they head into the Sporting CP clash.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup Vs Nottingham Forest
Defence
David Raya continues to remain the prime choice to feature between the sticks. He was solid in the previous game and should keep delivering the good.
Ben White is already ruled out of the rest of the season and his right-back position is likely to be grabbed by Jurrien Timber. It also means Oleksandr Zinchenko should be the nod for the left full-back position.
Mikel Arteta has no reason to change the most talked about centre-back duo of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes.
Midfield
Declan Rice didn’t turn up for England in the international break and should be ready to provide his qualities. He will certainly have the companies of Thomas Partey and Martin Odegaard in the middle of the park.
Attack
Bukayo Saka also preferred avoiding participating in the international break. The much-needed break should have done the good for him. Kai Havertz continues to lead the offensive line though he needs to step up immediately.
Though Raheem Sterling is back, Gabriel Martinelli is expected to feature on the left flank.
Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee), Riccardo Calafiori (knee) and Kieran Tierney (hamstring) are also doubtful for the clash. Leandro Trossard picked up an injury against Belgium and is unlikely to feature as well.
