Last updated on: September 29, 2024

Manchester United entertained Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford earlier this evening as they focused on securing a good result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the third minute when Brennan Johnson scored from close range. Bruno Fernandes was sent off by the referee for a reckless tackle in the 42nd minute as Man United went into the half-time interval 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Erik ten Hag conceded their second goal in the 47th minute when Dejan Kulusevski scored with a decent finish. Dominic Solanke killed the game off when he got his name on the scoresheet in the 77th minute. The contest ended with Man United suffering a poor 3-0 loss in front of their home fans.
