Manchester United entertained Liverpool at Old Trafford earlier today as they looked to secure a positive result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 35th minute when Luis Diaz scored from close range. Diaz doubled Liverpool’s advantage just seven minutes later as Erik ten Hag’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.
Mohamed Salah got his name on the scoresheet in the 56th minute with a good finish. The Mancunian club failed to come up with a response and crashed to a disappointing 3-0 loss at the Theatre of Dreams.

He produced a disjointed display in the middle of the park and made a poor mistake in the second half.

Garnacho was mostly quiet in the first half and was substituted in the 68th minute.

He failed to get a foothold in the game and never looked like he would score.
