Manchester United will clash heads with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this Saturday evening as they hope to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Red Devils managed to thrash Barnsley 7-0 in the EFL Cup recently which should give them a ton of confidence going into this game.
Erik ten Hag will stick with his favoured 4-2-3-1 formation and could name a strong first XI for this clash. Kobbie Mainoo, Bruno Fernandes and Lisandro Martinez are expected to play from the start of this game.
4-2-3-1 Manchester United Predicted Lineup To Face Crystal Palace
Defence
Andre Onana will feature in goal for the Red Devils after he was rested in midweek. Matthijs de Ligt will function alongside Lisandro Martinez at the centre of the Man United backline as they try to keep the opposition attackers frustrated during the 90 minutes.
Noussair Mazraoui will play as the right-back while Diogo Dalot hopes to impress on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans will offer cover for the defensive positions on the Man United bench.
Midfield
Manuel Ugarte will anchor the midfield along with Kobbie Mainoo as they look to retain possession well at the centre of the park. The talented trio of Amad Diallo, Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford will operate just ahead of them as part of Man United’s attack. All three of them need to combine well so that they can create enough chances for Man United to win this league contest at Selhurst Park.
Christian Eriksen, Alejandro Garnacho and Antony will have to settle for a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if required. However, Mount Mount would be sidelined for this game as well due to injury.
Attack
Joshua Zirkzee will spearhead ten Hag’s attack on his own up top. He has to find a way to be a constant menace in the final third if Man United are to come out on top this Saturday evening.
However, Rasmus Hojlund is unlikely to recover in time for this game.
