Barcelona will face off against Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium this Saturday night as they look to earn all three points away from home. The Catalan club would be eager to get off to a winning start in La Liga this weekend.
Hansi Flick will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and could name a strong starting XI for this game. Lamine Yamal and Ilkay Gundogan are both expected to play from the start of this contest versus Valencia.

Defence
Marc-Andre ter Stegen will play in goal for the Spanish club as he looks to keep a clean sheet on the road this Saturday night. Inigo Martinez will operate alongside Andreas Christensen at the heart of the Barca backline as they try to keep the Valencia attackers quiet during the game.
Jules Kounde will get the nod to impress at right-back while Alejandro Balde hopes to impress on the other side as the left-back. Flick will ask both of them to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Hector Fort will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Ilkay Gundogan and Marc Casado will operate as the holding midfielders as they try to make life tough for the home side in the middle of the park. The gifted trio of Raphinha, Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal will play function just ahead of them as part of Flick’s attack.
Both Raphinha and Yamal would have to stretch the pitch well for Barca if they are to come out on top this weekend.
Pablo Torre will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the second half if Flick decides to call upon his services. However, Gavi and Pedri will both miss this game due to injury.
Attack
Robert Lewandowski will lead the charge for the Catalan giants in the final third. The Polish striker would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet this Saturday.
Ferran Torres will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on in the latter stages of the game if needed.
