Arsenal will welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium this Saturday afternoon as they look to secure a win in front of their home fans. The Gunners would be keen to make a good start to this Premier League campaign by securing all three points this weekend.
Mikel Arteta will opt for the 4-3-3 formation and could name his strongest XI for this game. Kai Havertz will spearhead Arsenal’s attack up top while Gabriel Jesus has to be content with a spot on the bench.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup To Face Wolves
Defence
David Raya will feature in goal for the North London club as he hopes to keep a clean sheet this weekend. William Saliba will function alongside Gabriel at the heart of Arteta’s defence as they focus on keeping the opposition at bay throughout the game.
Ben White will continue to play as the right-back while Oleksandr Zinchenko tries to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Jakub Kiwior will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Declan Rice, Thomas Partey and Martin Odegaard will make up Arsenal’s midfield. Their main job would be to dominate the ball and orchestrate some inviting chances on the offensive end of the field. Partey would be the one sitting back and anchoring the midfield for the Gunners.
Jorginho will be named on the bench as he awaits his chance to make an impact in the second half if Arteta opts to call upon his services. However, Fabio Vieira is a major doubt for this game as he continues to recover from a hip problem.
Attack
Leandro Trossard will operate as the left-sided wide player while Bukayo Saka hopes to impress on the right flank. Kai Havertz will lead the charge for the North London giants down the middle. All three Arsenal frontmen need to be at their best if the Gunners are to come out on top this weekend.
Gabriel Jesus will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages of the contest if Arsenal are in need of a goal by then.
