4-0 against Granada and then 5-0 against Alaves. These are the scorelines Real Madrid have put in their past two games. Though they have won the league already, they are in no mood for mercy. Everything is going smoothly for them as of now.
The Whites have their next match lined up against Villarreal this week. They still have two games left before they play the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund. Hence, they would like to keep winning and build a strong momentum before the decisive night.
4-3-1-2 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup Vs Villarreal
Defence
The real dilemma starts here for boss Carlo Ancelotti after Thibaut Courtois showed his top-level form after coming back from a long injury. Andriy Lunin has also done well in the absence of the Belgium shot-stopper. Hence, picking between the two is going to be tough.
Lucas Vazquez is likely to walk into the XI to replace right full-back Dani Carvajal. While Eder Militao continues in the lineup, expect Antonio Rudiger to join him and not Nacho. Even Fran Garcia might earn a start at the left-back position.
Midfield
Eduardo Camavinga should be starting in the midfield once again. However, Luka Modric and Dani Ceballos are in line to join him, benching Toni Kroos and Federico Valverde.
Jude Bellingham is also likely to get the much-deserving rest as Arda Guler is expected to start this game.
Aurelien Tchouameni hasn’t yet recovered from a foot problem that he sustained during the clash against Bayern Munich.
Attack
Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr have played continuous football this season and it’s important to manage their workload. Hence, Brahim Diaz and Joselu should be called back to take on the duties.
Apart from Tchouameni, David Alaba (knee) remains the other absentee for the Spanish giant.
