Liverpool are preparing to host Wolves at Anfield in what will be their last game of the season. They recently held a 3-3 draw against Aston Villa and are third on the points table. After 37 games of play, the former side have 79 points in their bag.
The Reds will definitely aim to show a good display and finish the season on a high note. It will be some sort of treat for the fans as they faced only disappointment over the past few weeks. Moreover, Jurgen Klopp deserves to sign off with a win, doesn’t he?
4-3-3 Liverpool Predicted Lineup Vs Wolves
Defence
Alisson Becker couldn’t have done much for all three goals against Aston Villa. He should be ready to take charge between the sticks once again. Right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold had a below-par game as per his standards and will look to bounce back.
The centre-back duo of Jarell Quansah and Virgil van Dijk remain intact. Both defenders will try to do neat work at the back to help the side register a comprehensive victory. Andy Robertson will walk into the XI to replace Joe Gomez. The former missed the previous game due to a minor concern but is now fully fit.
Midfield
Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to alter anyone in the midfield trio. Wataru Endo will again perform the duties of number six, allowing his partners to move higher on the pitch. Harvey Elliott enjoyed a good time against Aston Villa but Alexis Mac Allister struggled to find rhythm and will aim for a comeback.
Attack
Cody Gakpo has been in good form lately and will lead the offensive line, while Luis Diaz takes the charge at the left wing. And obviously, Mohamed Salah is the name on the right flank. The duo of Salah and Klopp in action for one last time!
Joel Matip, Ben Doak and Thiago Alcantara are unavailable due to injuries for the absentees.
