Manchester United welcomed Liverpool at Old Trafford earlier today as they looked to secure a positive result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a poor start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 23rd minute when Luiz Diaz scored from close range. Man United went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Bruno Fernandes equalised for the home team with a good strike in the 50th minute before Kobbie Mainoo gave his team the lead with a sublime strike just 17 minutes later. Mohamed Salah equalised for the Merseyside club from the penalty spot in the 84th minute as Man United earned an entertaining 2-2 draw in front of their home fans.

He anchored the midfield with conviction but offered very little going forward.
CM: Kobbie Mainoo – 8/10
Mainoo protected his backline well and scored a great goal in the second half to put his team ahead in the game.
RW: Alejandro Garnacho – 6.5/10
He performed his defensive duties well but lacked quality in the final third.
CAM: Bruno Fernandes – 8/10
Fernandes worked hard defensively and managed to score a good goal early in the second half.
LW: Marcus Rashford – 6.5/10
Rashford made two promising runs with the ball but there was no goal for him.

He worked hard and managed to engineer two key chances for others around him in the final third.
