West Ham United are all set to face Wolves in an away fixture in the Premier League this weekend. They are ranked seventh position in the points table and have negligible chances of securing a berth in any European competition for next season.
But the Hammers would want to secure all three points to build confidence ahead of their crucial match next week. They will next face in-form Bayer Leverkusen in the quarter-final round of the Europa League. Hence, it will be important for them to head into the clash with a positive mindset.
4-2-3-1 West Ham United Predicted Lineup Vs Wolves
Defence
Lukasz Fabianski is to line up between the sticks once again for Alphonse Areola, who is sidelined due to a groin injury. The former did a fine job against Tottenham Hotspur. No change in the right-back position as Vladimir Coufal continues his operations there.
The centre-back duo of Konstantinos Mavropanos and Kurt Zouma also remains intact for his fixture. However, Nayef Aguerd is also an option for the demanding role. Emerson’s performance has been on a position trend recently and hence, he should be starting as the left-back for the team.
Midfield
Edson Alvarez is to return to the midfield after having served a two-match ban for picking up 10 yellow cards. Tomas Soucek will remain an undisputed pick for boss David Moyes. While James Ward-Prowse and Mohammed Kudus operate on the flanks, Lucas Paqueta operates in the middle to create goal-scoring opportunities.
Attack
Jarrod Bowen will continue leading the attacking line for the Hammers. He had a mixed outing against Spurs and would like to correct that against Wolves this week. Unfortunately, no place for Michail Antonio, who did a lot of hard work for his side in the previous game.
