Manchester United faced off against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a positive result on their travels in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a solid start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Mason Mount finally broke the deadlock in the sixth minute of injury-time. However, Brentford equalised in the dying embers of the contest thanks to Kristoffer Ajer’s goal. The contest finished with Man United being held to a lackluster 1-1 draw away from home.

Onana made a few solid saves at the back but couldn’t do much about Ajer’s finish deep in injury time.
RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 7.5/10
He performed his defensive duties well and made a few decent runs with the ball.

Varane cleared the danger when he could in the first half and was replaced at half-time.
CB: Victor Lindelof – 7.5/10
He gave a good account of himself on the defensive third of the field and was substituted in the 68th minute..
LB: Diogo Dalot – 7/10
He came back to defend when required and managed to create a few inviting chances from the wide areas.
CM: Scott McTominay – 6.5/10
McTominay cleared his lines when needed but offered very little in the opponent’s half.
CM: Kobbie Mainoo – 6.5/10
He caught the eye at times defensively but failed to make an impact going forward.
RW: Alejandro Garnacho – 6/10
His pace caused some problems for the opposition defenders. Garnacho was replaced in the 58th minute.
CAM: Bruno Fernandes – 7.5/10
Fernandes created some meaningful openings for others around him.
LW: Marcus Rashford – 6.5/10
Rashford was a lively presence in the final third but there was no goal for him.
ST: Rasmus Hojlund – 6/10
He missed a great chance to score in the second half. Hojlund was quiet for most of the contest.
