Defence
Andriy Lunin will be lined up between the sticks for Real Madrid. He had to save only one shot against Celta Vigo and enjoyed a clean sheet. He wouldn’t mind having a repeat telecast of that episode. Lucas Vazquez has been impressive as the left-back and is expected to be retained.
Antonio Rudiger continues to lead the defence in the absence of Eder Militao and David Alaba. Nacho, who had a decent game as a centre-back, will continue to operate. No complaints from right-back Ferland Mendy and hence, no change is expected.
Midfield
The trio of Luka Modric, Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde will once again take charge of the midfield. All three are performing brilliantly for the Whites. They cover good ground, defend well, and consistently create goal-scoring chances with key passes.

While Vinicius Jr is running the show, Rodrygo isn’t having his best time despite having decent numbers. However, they complement each other really well and Carlo Ancelotti wouldn’t want to harm that by breaking the duo.
Thibaut Courtois is going to return soon but not for this clash. Jude Bellingham, on the other hand, will miss the tie due to suspension.
