Defence
Ederson failed to keep a clean sheet against Chelsea but made some vital saves. Unsurprisingly, he will once again line up in goal for Manchester City. 19-year-old Rico Lewis is likely to get a chance at the right-back position, replacing Kyle Walker.
While Ruben Dias will lead the defensive pack, John Stones is expected to join him in the centre-back position. Manuel Akanji will be benched after a dismal performance in the previous game. Nathan Ake will continue to operate in the left-back.
Midfield

Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden will operate on the flanks and will try to cut in to create goal-scoring opportunities. Erling Haaland will be the undisputed striker for Pep Guardiola’s side and will be desperate to find the back of the net.
While Julian Alvarez and Jeremy Doku will be sent to the bench, Jack Grealish (groin) and Josko Gvardiol (ankle) will miss the tie due to injuries.
