Arsenal are keenly monitoring Marcus Rashford and his situation at Manchester United as per Football Insider. According to the report, they might want to sign the Manchester United superstar in the summer. Arsenal tried to sign him two years ago and expected to invest £45 million in 2022. Now, with uncertainty regarding Rashford’s future at Manchester United, Arsenal could be interested in him again.
Arsenal interested in Marcus Rashford
Marcus Rashford has been in the news a lot recently because of a night out in Northern Ireland that caused some controversy. It’s not exactly known which day he went to Belfast, but Erik ten Hag, the manager, has said there was a problem, and it has been dealt with.
Even though the issue with Rashford seems to be resolved quickly, people will probably keep talking about what might happen with him in the future at the club.
Rashford has a deal until 2028, but people are still saying Manchester United might sell him. As per some reports, Arsenal are thinking about getting him in the summer because they have liked him for a long time.

But it’s highly unlikely that Rashford will join, mainly because he’s one of the big names at United and they are very unlikely to sell him, that too to a top 6 rival in the Premier League. He is also an academy player so getting him will be difficult and expensive.
Besides, Rashford isn’t in top form right now, and his performance this season isn’t as good as it was in 2022/23, causing a lack of confidence in his abilities. So it makes no sense from even Arteta’s POV.
Since Rashford has a contract until 2028, Manchester United will probably ask for a lot of money if they agree to let him go to another Premier League team. Also, Rashford’s salary is likely to be quite high. In the end, spending so much money on him may not be worth it, and Arteta will be careful not to bring in a player who could cause problems for the team.
