Chelsea locked horns with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a victory on their travels in the Premier League. The Blues made a good start to the game and managed to get their noses ahead in the 42nd minute thanks to Raheem Sterling’s composed finish. Mauricio Pochettino’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
The West London club defended well but ended up conceding the equaliser in the 83rd minute when Rodri scored with a deflected effort. The match finished with Chelsea earning an impressive 1-1 draw at the Etihad.

RW: Cole Palmer – 6.5/10
Palmer came back to defend when needed but struggled to threaten the Man City goal.
CAM: Conor Gallagher – 7/10
He worked his socks off chasing down the opposition but lacked quality on the ball.
LW: Raheem Sterling – 7.5/10
Sterling caught the eye at times on the left wing and managed to get his name on the scoresheet against his old club in the 42nd minute.

He caused a few headaches for the Man City centre-backs and ended the game with an assist to his name.
