Manchester United clashed heads with Aston Villa at Villa Park earlier this evening as they hoped to secure all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a decent start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 17th minute when Rasmus Hojlund found the back of the net. Erik ten Hag’s men defended their slender advantage well and managed to get to the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Douglas Luiz equalised for the Villans in the 67th minute. However, Scott McTominay ended up scoring the winning goal for Man United in the 86th minute. The Mancunian club secured a hard-fought 2-1 win after the full-time whistle.
