West Ham are preparing to host Arsenal at the London Stadium on Sunday in a Premier League fixture. They started the campaign on a roll only to slip it up in the later stages. They haven’t won a single game in their last five outings.
As a result, the Hammers are stuck in seventh position in the points table, ten points off the fourth position. Their last win came in the reverse fixture against Arsenal in December. It will surely be a plus to look into and will boost their morale ahead of the clash.
4-2-3-1 West Ham Predicted Lineup Vs Arsenal
Defence
Alphonse Areola is likely to be fit to start in the game against Arsenal. He was taken off at half-time in the previous game but there seems no worries about his availability. Vladimir Coufal will take the right-back position but he needs to contribute more in the defensive aspect.
Nayef Aguerd and skipper Kurt Zouma will act as the centre-backs for the Hammers despite having a dismal outing against the Red Devils recently. Left-back Emerson was no different and made a few blunders in the last match abut needs to step up his game.
Midfield
David Moyes will continue with the duo of Edson Alvarez and Tomas Soucek in the midfield after their decent performances. However, the absence of Lucas Paqueta will hurt the side to a great extent. Ben Johnson, James Ward-Prowse and Mohammed Kudus will accompany the duo up front.
All of these are highly skilled and well-equipped to create real goal-scoring opportunities. Once again, the team will be highly dependent upon them in the offensive exploits.
Attack
Jarrod Bowen will lead the attack for his side and will be responsible for scoring the goals. He will obviously need his teammates to feed him with quality passes in the final third. If West Ham want to clinch the victory, Bowen’s individual excellence will be required for sure.
