West Ham United will lock horns with Everton at Goodison Park this Saturday afternoon as they try to secure a victory on the road in the Premier League. The Hammers managed to secure a dominant 4-2 win over Brentford recently which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this league contest at Merseyside.
David Moyes will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, Jarrod Bowen will once again spearhead West Ham’s attack up top.
4-2-3-1 West Ham United Predicted Lineup To Face Everton
Defence
Alphonse Areola will play in goal for the Hammers after conceding a couple of goals in his last appearance. Kurt Zouma will play alongside Konstantinos Mavropanos at the centre of Moyes’ defence as they focus on keeping the opposition at bay during the game.
Vladimir Coufal will try to catch the eye as the right-back while Emerson Palmieri looks to put in a good display on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to get forward and express themselves in the Everton half.
Ben Johnson will offer cover for the full-back positions on the bench.
Midfield
Edson Alvarez and Tomas Soucek will anchor the midfield for West Ham as they try to dictate the tempo of the game at the centre of the park. The talented trio of Lucas Paqueta, James Ward-Prowse and Mohammed Kudus will operate just ahead of them as part of Moyes’ attack. All three of them need to be at their best if they are to create enough clear-cut chances to win this league clash at Goodison Park.
Kalvin Phillips will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages of the game if required.
Attack
Jarrod Bowen will lead the charge for the East London club on the offensive end of the field. He would try to put his pace to good use up top.
Michail Antonio and Danny Ings will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they wait for their opportunity to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.
