Manchester United welcomed Aston Villa at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a win at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 21st minute when John McGinn scored with his indirect freekick. Leander Dendoncker doubled Aston Villa’s advantage just five minutes later as Erik ten Hag’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.
Alejandro Garnacho got a goal back for Man United in the 59th minute before going on to equalise for them just 12 minutes later. Rasmus Hojlund ended up completing the turnaround as he scored with a great finish in the 82nd minute. The Mancunian club hung on to their narrow advantage and secured a brilliant 3-2 win in front of their home fans.
