Saka And Martinelli To Start | 4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup Vs Newcastle United

Arsenal will lock horns with Newcastle United at St. James’ Park this Saturday evening as they focus on securing a victory on their travels in the Premier League. The Gunners suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of West Ham United in midweek which knocked them out of the EFL Cup. Hence, the North London club would be desperate to bounce back with a positive result against the Magpies this weekend.

Mikel Arteta will set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to name a strong first team for this game. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli will both play from the start of this contest.

Defence

David Raya will operate in between the sticks for the Gunners after not being involved against West Ham in midweek. Gabriel will once again operate alongside William Saliba at the centre of Arteta’s defence as they look to keep the Newcastle attackers at bay during the game.

Ben White will fill in as the right-back while Oleksandr Zinchenko hopes to prove his worth on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them would be keen on getting forward and offering decent support to the front players.

Jakub Kiwior will drop to the bench as he provides cover for the centre-half positions.

Midfield

Declan Rice, Jorginho and Martin Odegaard will operate as Arteta’s first-team central midfielders. Their main focus would be to retain possession well at the centre of the park and orchestrate enough chances for the Gunners to win this game.

Kai Havertz and Fabio Vieira will have to settle for a place on the bench as they await their opportunity to impress in the second half if required.

Attack

Gabriel Martinelli will try to make a difference for Arsenal on the left wing while Bukayo Saka hopes to weave his magic from the right flank. Eddie Nketiah will once again spearhead Arteta’s attack in the final third. He would have to carry some of the goal-scoring workload for the London club up top.
