Arsenal will lock horns with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this Saturday as they hope to secure a good result in the London derby. The Gunners managed to earn a hard-fought 1-0 win over Manchester City before the international break, so we can expect them to be full of confidence going into this Premier League clash.
Mikel Arteta will set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation once again and could name a strong first XI for this game. Both Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli will play from the start of this game as they try to give a good account of themselves out in the wide areas.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup To Face Chelsea
David Raya will operate in goal for the Gunners after securing a clean sheet versus Man City in his last league outing. Gabriel will once again feature alongside William Saliba at the heart of Arsenal’s defence as they hope to keep a clean sheet on the road.
Ben White will fill in as the right-back while Oleksandr Zinchenko gets a chance to catch the eye as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to get forward and express themselves in the Chelsea half.
Takehiro Tomiyasu will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Declan Rice, Jorginho and Martin Odegaard will make up Arteta’s midfield as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and orchestrate enough chances to win this contest.
Thomas Partey and Kai Havertz will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second half if Arteta opts to call upon their services.
Gabriel Martinelli will get a chance to impress as the left-winger if he can pass a late fitness. Bukayo Saka is also a slight concern ahead of this game but should get the nod to function on the right flank.
Gabriel Jesus will lead the charge for the Gunners on the offensive end of the pitch. He would have to carry some of the goal-scoring workload for his team up top.
Eddie Nketiah will drop to the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the latter stages if needed.
