Manchester United entertained Galatasaray at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they looked to earn a good result at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Red Devils made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 17th minute when Rasmus Hojlund got his name on the scoresheet. However, Wilfried Zaha equalised for the visitors just seven minutes later as both sides went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.
Hojlund scored again for the Mancunian giants in the 67th minute. However, Galatasaray equalised thanks to Muhammed Kerem Akturkoglu’s effort. Casemiro was sent off soon after. Mauro Icardi ended up scoring the winning goal for the Turkish club in the 81st minute as Man United crashed to a poor 3-2 loss at the Theatre of Dreams.
