Tottenham Hotspur faced off against Burnley at Turf Moor earlier today as they looked to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. Spurs made a slow start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the fourth minute when Lyle Foster scored for the home team. However, Heung-min Son equalised for the North London club before Cristian Romero gave his team the lead in the first half injury-time. Tottenham went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.

James Maddison got his name on the scoresheet in the 54th minute. Son scored again for Spurs in the 63rd minute before going on to complete his hat trick just three minutes later. Burnley scored a late consolation goal via Josh Brownhill’s effort but Tottenham ended up securing a dominant 5-2 win away from home.
