Arsenal welcomed Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium earlier today as they focused on securing a victory in the North London derby. Mikel Arteta‘s men made a bright start to the game and got themselves ahead in the 26th minute when Cristian Romero scored an unfortunate own goal. However, Heung-min Son equalised for the visitors in the 42nd minute. Both teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

Bukayo Saka gave Arsenal the lead in the 54th minute from the penalty spot. However, Son equalised once again for Spurs just a minute later. The derby finished with the Gunners being held to a 2-2 draw at the Emirates.

He struggled to make a positive impact and was replaced at half-time.

LW: Gabriel Jesus – 7/10

The Brazilian attacker made a few decent runs with the ball but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.

ST: Eddie Nketiah – 6.5/10

He had a couple of bright moments in the game but never looked like he would score.

RW: Bukayo Saka – 8/10

Saka caused a lot of headaches for the opposition defenders and scored Arsenal’s second goal from the penalty spot in the 54th minute.

Substitutes:

CM: Kai Havertz – 6.5/10

He linked up play well with others around him.

CM: Jorginho – 5.5/10
