Lewandowski And Cancelo Get 9 | Barcelona Players Rated In Dominant Win Vs Real Betis

Barcelona entertained Real Betis at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a good result at home in La Liga. The Catalan club made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 25th minute when Joao Felix found the back of the net. Robert Lewandowski doubled Barca’s advantage just seven minutes later as Xavi’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.

Ferran Torres killed the game off in the 62nd minute before Raphinha made it 4-0 to Barcelona just four minutes later. Joao Cancelo put the icing on the cake as he scored as well in the 81st minute. The contest finished with the Catalan giants earning a dominant 5-0 win in front of their home fans.

Let’s take a look at how each Barcelona player performed during the contest against Real Betis.

GK: Marc-Andre ter Stegen – 7.5/10

The German keeper made two important saves at the back and secured a well-deserved clean sheet at the Nou Camp.

RB: Joao Cancelo – 9/10

He performed his defensive duties well and made a lot of driving runs with the ball on the right flank.

CB: Jules Kounde – 7.5/10

The French talent was a solid presence inside his half and made two decent runs with the ball going forward.

CB: Andreas Christensen – 7.5/10

He did what was required of him defensively and managed to secure an assist during his time on the pitch.

LB: Alejandro Balde – 7.5/10

He didn’t do much wrong at the back and was a lively presence on the left wing.

CM: Frenkie de Jong – 7.5/10

De Jong anchored the midfield well and was accurate with his passing.

CM: Oriol Romeu – 7.5/10

He created some decent plays for his teammates and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

CM: Gavi – 7.5/10

Gavi protected his backline really well but offered very little going forward.

RW: Ferran Torres – 7.5/10

He was a constant menace in the final third and managed to find the back of the net just after the hour mark.

ST: Robert Lewandowski – 9/10

Lewandowski caused all sorts of problems for the Real Betis defenders. He ended the game with a goal and a couple of assists to his name.

LW: Joao Felix – 8/10

Felix was a real threat on the left flank and did well to open the goal-scoring for Barca in the 25th minute.

Substitutes:

RW: Raphinha – 7.5/10

He came off the bench and scored a good goal.

CM: Ilkay Gundogan – 6.5/10

The German midfield ace was a lively presence in the final third.

RW: Lamine Yamal – 6.5/10

He struggled to get into the flow of the game.

LB: Marcos Alonso – 6.5/10

The Spaniard made one key chance in the opponent’s half.

CB: Iñigo Martínez – 6/10

He kept things solid at the back.
