Aston Villa clashed heads with Liverpool at Anfield earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Villans made a slow start to the contest and conceded the opening goal in the third minute when Dominik Szoboszlai scored with a great strike. Matty Cash scored an unfortunate own goal in the 22nd minute as Unai Emery’s men went into the half-time interval 2-0 down on the scoreline.
Mohamed Salah killed the game off in the 55th minute as the West Midlands club crashed to a 3-0 loss away from home.
