Bukayo Saka doubled the North London club’s advantage just six minutes later when he scored with a great strike. Mikel Arteta‘s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.

Taiwo Awoniyi scored a consolation goal for the visitors in the 82nd minute. However, Arsenal hung on to their narrow advantage and secured a narrow 2-1 win in front of their home fans.
