Barcelona will welcome Cadiz at the Nou Camp this weekend as they look to collect all three points on the road. The Catalan club were held to a scoreless draw away at Getafe recently, so they would be eager to pick up their first win of this campaign in front of their home fans.
Xavi will opt for a 4-2-3-1 formation and are expected to name a strong first XI for this game. Eric Garcia and Ferran Torres will get a chance to impress from the start of this clash at the Nou Camp.
4-2-3-1 Barcelona Predicted Lineup To Face Cadiz
Defence
Marc-André ter Stegen will feature in goal for Barca after keeping a clean sheet in his last league outing. Eric Garcia will get a chance to partner Andreas Christensen at the centre of Xavi’s defence as they look to maintain a solid defensive shape at the back during the 90 minutes.
Jules Koude could fill in as a makeshift right-back while Alejandro Balde hopes to impress on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them would get a chance to get forward and join in on the attack at every chance they get.
Ronald Araujo will miss this clash due to a thigh injury.
Midfield
Frenkie de Jong and Oriol Romeu will anchor the midfield for Barcelona as they look to establish their dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Ilkay Gundogan, Pedri and Ferran Torres will operate just ahead of them as part of West Ham’s attack. All three of them need to be at the top of their game if Barca are to come away with the three points this weekend.
Gavi will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to catch the eye in the second half if Xavi opts to call upon his services.
Attack
Robert Lewandowski will lead the charge for the Catalan club in the final third. The Polish striker failed to register a goal versus Getafe and would be eager to make a difference for Barca this weekend.
Ansu Fati will be named on the bench and might come on in the final quarter of the game if required.
