Chelsea faced off against West Ham United at the London Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a positive result on the road in the Premier League. The Blues made a poor start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the seventh minute when Nayef Aguerd got his name on the scoresheet. However, Carney Chukwuemeka managed to equalise for Chelsea in the 28th minute as Mauricio Pochettino’s men went into the half-time interval with a 1-1 scoreline.

The West London club made a poor start to the second half as Michail Antonio scored with a powerful strike in the 53rd minute. Chelsea ended up conceding a late penalty which Lucas Paqueta scored to put the contest to bed. The match finished with the Blues suffering a lackluster 3-1 loss in the London derby.
