Ankit is a 24-year-old, aspiring to have his voice heard through what he writes. Charismatic and frankly moral, adhering to his principles and beliefs. Out to search for a purpose in life and yet to settle on that matter.

According to the report Evening Standard, on the second-to-last day of the transfer window, Chelsea has officially announced another departure. Tino Anjorin, aged 21, has secured a loan move to League One’s Portsmouth for the rest of the season. This marks his third loan experience since his association with Stamford Bridge, having previously played with Lokomotiv Moscow in the 2021/22 season and more recently with Huddersfield.

Tino Anjorin’s Impressive Rise At Chelsea

Tino Anjorin is one of the most promising young talents in Chelsea’s academy. The 21-year-old midfielder has been making waves in recent years. Anjorin joined Chelsea’s academy at the age of six, and he has progressed through the ranks at the club ever since making his first-team debut in 2020.

In 2021-22, Anjorin was loaned out to Lokomotiv Moscow in the Russian Premier League. He made eight appearances for the club before his loan was terminated due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In 2022-23, Anjorin was loaned out to Huddersfield Town in the Championship. He made a few appearances for the club, scoring two goals. He was a standout player for Huddersfield as they reached the play-offs.

Good Decision From Pochettino In Sanctioning His Loan Exit?

Anjorin is still a young player, but he has the potential to be a star. He has all the attributes to be a top-class midfielder, and he is already showing signs of his talent at the highest level. If he continues to develop, he could be a key player for Chelsea for many years to come.

The West London club are currently stacked on midfielders, and there is a lot of competition for places within the squad. Anjorin is a talented player, but he needs regular playing time to develop his game. A loan move to Portsmouth will give him the opportunity to play regularly and prove himself at a higher level.

Anjorin will benefit from the move to Portsmouth because he will get the chance to play regularly and test himself against better players. He will also learn from the experienced players at the club. If he does well, he could force his way back into the Blues first team in the foreseeable future. Hence, Mauricio Pochettino has done well to authorise his loan move before deadline day.
