Aston Villa entertained Everton at Villa Park earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Villans made a great start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 18th minute when John McGinn got his name on the scoresheet. Douglas Luiz doubled the home team’s advantage from the penalty spot just six minutes later. Unai Emery’s men went into the half-time break with a 2-0 lead.

Leon Bailey killed the game off in the 51st minute before Jhon Duran added another goal for the West Midlands club in the 75th minute. The contest ended with Aston Villa earning a dominant 4-0 win in front of their home fans.
