Inter Miami are an American football club based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They play their football in the Major League Soccer after being founded on January 29, 2018.

Inter Miami are using the DRV PNK Stadium to play their home matches in the MLS. The American outfit first participated in Major League Soccer in the 2020 campaign. They finished 10th in their conference and 19th overall that season.

In 2022, Inter Miami made significant progress as they earned a sixth-place finish in their conference and a 12th-place finish overall in the MLS.

Inter Miami has recently made the headlines as Lionel Messi opted to sign for them in this off-season. The Argentine superstar’s arrival indicates that the Miami-based team is wasting no time and are ready to invest heavily in the hopes of challenging for some major trophies in American soccer.

Inter Miami are yet to taste any success in Major League Soccer. In fact, they have not yet managed to win any major trophy at the highest level (via transfermarkt).

Inter Miami were founded in 2018 with the 2022 season in the MLS proving to be their best one yet as they clinched a sixth-place finish in their conference. Only time will tell whether Lionel Messi will be able to bring some success to Fort Lauderdale-based club in the coming seasons. However, it won’t be easy unless the club surrounds him with a few other top players ahead of the new campaign.
